Dr. Ania Crawshaw is a Neurology Registrar and Clinical Lecturer at St George’s University London who is working together with Professor Mark Edwards to develop an online FND education module for healthcare professionals.
She is seeking the opportunity to talk to patients with FND regarding their ideas on the developing project, and ensure that patient priorities are included and reflected in the course content. The module is intended to include information about FND (including definition, current understanding about mechanisms, clinical features, positive diagnostic signs and management) and a section focusing on communication skills and language that can be helpful in consultations with patients who have FND.
In order to better understand and incorporate patient perspectives on the above, two focus group meetings have been scheduled for December 2021. If you would be interested to participate, please sign up via the form below. Approximately 15 spaces per group will be available.
